| If you previously owned a Treo 600
smartphone and are upgrading to a new Treo
650 smartphone, keep in mind: Treo 600
pictures are not automatically
transferred to your Treo 650 smartphone when
you upgrade.
Instead, if you want to keep your old
Treo 600 pictures on your new smartphone,
you'll need to move them manually, using the
method below.
- On your desktop computer, launch
Palm Desktop.
- Click on the Treo Pictures icon on
the left tool.

Can't find this icon? If
the Treo Pictures icon is missing, you
can manually open your Treo Pictures
folder at
My Documents > My Pictures > Treo
Pictures > (user name)
- Your Treo Pictures folder will open.
Locate the pictures you want to transfer
to your new Treo 650 smartphone.
- Back in Palm Desktop, click on the
Media icon on the left tool. Make sure
you've selected the user name to which
you want to transfer pictures from the
pick list in the upper right corner of
the screen.
- The Media window will open. Drag and
drop files from the Treo Pictures into
the Media window.
- Pictures in the Media window will be
transferred to your Treo 650 smartphone
the next time you perform a HotSync
operation.
