Palm™ Tungsten™ T5 Handhelds
Uninstalling the Tungsten™ T5 version of Palm Desktop from a Mac
 
 
At this time, there is no uninstaller for the Tungsten T5 version of Palm Desktop for the Mac OS platform. In order to completely uninstall Palm Desktop and HotSync Manager from your Mac, you'll need to manually delete all the files below. If you follow this process, all user data will be deleted along with the Palm Desktop and HotSync Manager applications. Possible locations of user data are marked in red.

We caution you not to undertake this manual uninstallation if you are uncomfortable with your Mac OS file structure, or are hesitant to lose Tungsten T5 data on your Mac.

To uninstall Palm Desktop

 

  1. On your Mac, quit Palm Desktop and HotSync Manager.
  2. Open the System Preferences. Select Login Items. Remove Transport Monitor and Palm Desktop Background.
  3. Restart your Mac.
  4. Remove the files in the list below.

Files to remove for complete uninstall

    Warning: This folder is where your personal data is stored. Do not delete it unless you are comfortable with permanently losing all your personal data.
