Palm Tungsten T5 Handhelds
Safely Disconnecting Drive Mode from a PC or Macintosh using on the Tungsten T5
 
When you're finished using Drive Mode with your Tungsten™ T5 handheld, you'll need to disconnect it from your desktop computer properly. Otherwise, you could risk data loss.

Windows
On your handheld, turn off Drive Mode. On your PC, select the "Safely Remove Hardware" icon in the System Tray. Select the drive for the Tungsten T5 handheld

Note: If you have more than one USB mass storage device attached to your PC, you will need to locate the Tungsten T5 handheld in the Hardware Devices List. You can easily find the Tungsten T5 device from the list by highlighting each Hardware Device and selecting Properties. Within the Properties screen for each hardware device, you will see a line for Location. If "palmOne Handheld" appears on this line, this is your Tungsten T5 handheld. Select Stop and then click OK on the confirmation screen.

Macintosh
On your handheld, turn off Drive Mode. On your Mac, drag both the Drive and the Expansion Card (if available) to the eject icon in the Dock.
