Acrobat Reader Conduit (Macintosh): acroDesktop says 'Waiting for HotSync'

 
 
After launching "acroDesktop" the application will ask the user to perform a HotSync® operation in order to get the best settings for the handheld. If the settings are not created after a HotSync operation (i.e. the application continues to say "Waiting for HotSync"), check to see that the Acrobat Reader Conduit was installed.
  1. Open the following folders: //Library/Application Support/Palm HotSync/Conduits/
  2. Check for the file "AcroConduit".
  3. If this file is not present, copy the AcroConduit file from: Software Essentials/Productivity/Acrobat/Installer Files to this location.
